our story
A world transformed through Inner Peace, Heirloom Sacred Wisdom, and Reverence for all life.
Our Calling
The world today faces a paradox: deeper disconnection amid wider diversity, louder noise amid greater spiritual hunger.
From this tension, Divine Indwelling was born, a living answer to the longing for stillness, sacred belonging, and inner renewal. By honoring timeless wisdom and nurturing spiritual depth, we are sowing seeds of peace that can ripple into a more compassionate world.

Our Approach
Our methods are intentional, embodied, and interspiritual, designed to touch the heart, the mind, and the soul:
We embrace all spiritual wisdom
-
We honor and celebrate the diverse mosaic of spiritual traditions, acknowledging the profound wisdom found within each.
We believe that all religions and spiritual paths are interconnected, ultimately leading to the same fundamental truth or divine principle. This ultimate reality transcends human comprehension and categorization.
Recognizing this interconnectedness, we foster dialogue and understanding among various spiritual traditions.
Our aim is to enrich individual journeys without imposing a singular perspective.
We champion new monasticism in interspirituality
-
At our upcoming Spiritual Farm & Monastery, we prioritize pluralism, interspirituality, contemplative practice, social engagement, and sustainability.
Our aim is to create a space where individuals can explore diverse spiritual paths, cultivate inner peace, serve their communities, and live in harmony with the planet.
We build bridges across communities
-
We create bridges between communities, encouraging:
Interfaith dialogue: Open and respectful conversations where individuals from different backgrounds can share their beliefs and learn from each other.
Community outreach: We collaborate with religious communities to organize joint events, service projects, and cultural celebrations.
Peacebuilding initiatives: We harness the power of faith to work towards conflict resolution and social justice.
We are a catalyst for positive change
-
We want to be a catalyst for positive change, inspiring individuals to:
Embrace empathy: Develop an understanding of and appreciation for different perspectives.
Challenge stereotypes: Move beyond misconceptions and prejudices to see the shared humanity in everyone.
Become agents of peace: Utilize the teachings of various faiths to promote conflict resolution and build a more just and peaceful world.
Our Values
Our work is grounded in five essential principles:
Inner transformation
True change begins within and flows outward from spiritual depth.Sacred diversity
We honor all traditions as sacred gifts and embrace diversity in voices, cultures, and lived experiences.Embodied wisdom
We value practices that integrate learning into daily life, making the sacred tangible.Service-rooted spirituality
We believe stillness must lead to compassion, justice, and meaningful engagement.Reverence for the Earth
We commit to living in harmony with nature as an expression of spiritual integrity.

Our Ongoing Story
Divine Indwelling did not begin as an organization. It began as a longing for inner peace, deeper presence, and a world more rooted in the sacred.
In 2018, we began under the name Shift Within, offering soul-centered programs for personal transformation. That seed grew into the Tounché Global Consciousness Summit, gathering thousands across the world for sacred dialogue and collective healing. From there emerged The LovingKindness Boma, planting ancestral wisdom into the hearts of children, and a series of community circles and communal prayer marathons where truth-telling and spiritual companionship could unfold.
As each expression bloomed, a deeper thread emerged, the need for a spiritual root, a contemplative anchor that could hold it all. That root became Divine Indwelling.
Today, Divine Indwelling brings these initiatives together into one sacred ecosystem, with a vision to ground this work in a contemplative monastery and spiritual farm in Bali, a home for prayer, silence, sacred study, and regenerative living. The monastery is still unfolding, but the spirit of it is already alive in every retreat, every gathering, every act of sacred listening we hold.
Your Part in the Story
Divine Indwelling is not built on a single voice or tradition. It is shaped by every person who shows up with presence, curiosity, and a longing for something more whole.
Whether you are drawn to silence or conversation, mysticism or service, ancestral memory or sacred imagination, there is space here for your gifts, your questions, your becoming.
You are not just invited to attend.
You are invited to belong.
This story is still unfolding. And your presence helps write the next chapter.
