This prayer journey was launched during World Men's Mental Health Month 2025 — a season when the world was turning its collective attention toward the emotional lives of men, so often hidden, unsupported, or carried in silence. Our prayers are being carried on a larger current of intention, amplified by a global atmosphere of care and concern for men's wellbeing.
The Sacred Role of Women in Intercession
Women are life-bringers — not only biologically but spiritually. We are attuned to the rhythms of life and spirit in ways that make our intercession particularly powerful. According to Sobonfu Somé, the renowned voice in African spirituality, women are the portals between the spirit world and the physical world. When women pray in unity, something moves. Led by Swaady Martin
Swaady Martin is a spiritual director, contemplative teacher, and founder of Divine Indwelling — an interspiritual formation ministry rooted in Christian contemplative wisdom. She maintained a daily prayer practice and monthly silent monastery retreats throughout her years as a senior leader in global business, and has accompanied hundreds of people across 35 countries in their interior formation.
The prayers in this journey come from her own practice — from years of standing in faithful intercession for the men in her life, and from the conviction that love expressed through prayer is one of the most powerful forces available to a woman.
