The Mango's Grace is a playful yoga sequence built into the story of Mokili, a young boy guided toward conscious and mindful eating practices by a talking mango. As little ones follow Mokili through his adventure, they are introduced to grounding breathwork (pranayama), tension-releasing warm-ups, and yoga poses (asanas) that build strength, balance, and flexibility. The sequence concludes with relaxation in Savasana.

FOR PARENTS & EDUCATORS

Reading this book
opens a conversation.

The Mango's Grace brings together story, movement, and mindfulness in a single book — making yoga accessible to children from the very beginning through a narrative they will want to follow again and again. The themes it opens go beyond the physical practice, inviting conversations about food, body awareness, inner strength, and the relationship between mind and movement.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Swaady Martin

I wrote this book after completing my teacher training in yoga and mindfulness for children — a training that deepened a practice I have carried daily for more than fifteen years. Yoga came into my life as an adult and changed how I inhabit my own body. I wanted to give children what I discovered as a grown-up: one of the extraordinary gifts that India has offered the world — a practice that builds strength, balance, and awareness from the inside out, through movement, breath, and presence. This book is my offering of that gift, made playful enough for the youngest practitioners.
