Interspiritual Peace Prayer MArathon
“I am the Peace I wish to see”

During our Interspiritual Peace Prayer Marathon, we engage in continuous prayer for several hours, typically spanning 8 to 13 hours. Our collective intention is to promote social change through prayers for peace, social justice, environmental protection, and spiritual renewal for all.
Standing in solidarity with our human family, our Prayer Marathon is a powerful act of interfaith unity. Through our prayer marathons, we acknowledge the suffering of others, carrying them in our hearts with each shared prayer and intention. We harness the collective power of diverse faiths to send healing energy and hope to those impacted by conflict and oppression.
Beyond prayer, we commit to embodying peace and compassion in our daily lives. By being the peace we seek in the world, we can amplify a wave of empathy that ripples outward, bringing comfort and fostering a brighter future. Our prayer marathons foster interfaith dialogue, understanding, and unity, emphasizing the shared values and aspirations of diverse religious communities.

12 hours Interfaith Peace Prayer Marathon
SOLANA RETREAT CENTER, 1 May 2024, Bali
Solana Retreat became a haven for peace as Divine Indwelling hosted a powerful interfaith initiative.
Pop-up chapels representing Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, and Sikhism adorned the gardens, offering peaceful sanctuaries for reflection amidst the beauty of nature.
In the main area, a special "Love Altar" stood as a symbol of Jewish and Muslim fraternity, highlighting the common ground across faiths while offering prayers for peace in the escalating conflict in Palestine and Israel. The event responded directly to the recent developments, acknowledging the suffering that began with Hamas' rocket attacks on southern Israel on October 7th, 2023.
Throughout the day, representatives from various religions led 12 hours of meditations and prayers for global peace. This powerful collective effort resonated deeply with the community, drawing approximately 150 attendees who participated in the act of unity.
The gathering at Solana Retreat served as a beautiful testament to the unifying power of prayer and our shared desire for a more peaceful world.
